Daniel's mission is to provide businesses with the systems that they need by getting the infrastructure right first time and by thinking outside the box in new and innovative ways. I believe that systems should be easy to use correctly and hard to use incorrectly. I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge gained outside the IT world. This gives me a pragmatic view of technology and empathy with the people using it. A frequently quoted question is - Have you had 20 year’s experience or 1 year repeated 20 times? I have been an Analytical Chemist, a Lab Manger, a Production Manager, a Quality Manager, an ISO9000 Auditor, a Warehouse Manager, a Business Analyst, a PADI Dive Master and A VET Trainer & Assessor. When I moved into IT I purposely took up short contracts to gain experience of a range of systems and industries. In total I have worked for 16 different companies in the UK, France and Australia. I have experience of MRP, SQL, ERP, CRM, databases, networks, cloud infrastructure and much more. It is critical to me that the business I am working for has a vision, mission and values that align with my own. The company must be looking to leverage their competitive advantage through the application of new technology. I am particularly interested in Cloud technology, mobile platforms and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality.
